Staff Members Receive Honors

DENVER, 10 October, 2005 — At the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association (PNCWA) Annual Conference in Tacoma, Wash., two CH2M HILL Water Business Group employees were recognized for outstanding achievements in their field.

Eleanor Allen in the Seattle office was given the President's Award for her efforts as chair of the Odor Control Committee for the PNCWA. This award is given by the PNCWA president in appreciation of outstanding contributions to association activities and to fulfilling its mission. Recipients are chosen solely by the president.

Says Allen, "It has been a pleasure to lead and work with such a great committee. We have an active team that has great ideas, lots of energy, and an ambitious agenda for the upcoming year."

At the same conference, Doug Berschauer, also of the Seattle office, was presented the Arthur Sidney Bedell Award for his leadership in the association and extraordinary personal service, including organizational leadership, administrative service, membership activity, stimulation of technical functions or similar participation. The award is named for the second president of the association, who exemplified its purpose by his long devotion and service to the New York Sewage and Industrial Wastes Association. Says Berschauer, "As a recent hire, I am so glad to be part of the CH2M HILL team and work with such great people!"
