Our North American candidates have spoken and thanks to their positive experience with our recruitment process, CH2M has been honored as a winner of the 2016 Candidate Experience Awards in North America.
Our North American candidates have spoken and thanks to their positive experience with our recruitment process, CH2M has been honored as a winner of the 2016 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards in North America. This year, over 240 companies participated in the North American CandE Awards, and 50 were chosen through 184,000 individual candidate responses.
This year’s win is especially meaningful for us. The recruitment team made crucial improvements to our processes, technologies and communications, based on our candidates’ feedback. From upgrading the search functionality on our careers website to adding information on candidate support and including the ability to apply from a mobile device, we’re always looking for new ways to support our candidates and provide a positive and insightful experience.
“From people profiles to recruitment tips, and first hand experiences from our team members, we are working hard to ensure our candidates have all the information they need to make a decision about joining our business,” said Matt Sharp, CH2M Global Talent Brand Strategist. “We are constantly striving to improve and make the candidate experience a more pleasurable one.”
Selected by the job applicants, the CandE Awards conducts a comprehensive evaluation of the entire recruitment process, from employment brand and job postings to interviews and onboarding. It serves as an industry benchmark, celebrating companies that meet and surpass the Talent Board’s standards of excellence in the candidate experience.
"Our candidate experience on our website is extremely important to us. We have worked hard this year to improve the job search on the site, adding in radius-based, location searches, as well as the ability to filter the search for job function, career level, and CH2M capability, said John Cotton, CH2M Recruiting Technology and User Experience Strategist. “We're able to see in our analytics that candidates are reaching the jobs that interest them in about half the time of previous searches, and that is a positive outcome, both for candidates and for us."
