In 2015, David joined LeighFisher as Managing Director of the company's Infrastructure and Government Services Practice in the Americas. He currently serves as Vice President.
David is a registered professional civil engineer in Canada and has more than 25 years of government and private sector experience on infrastructure projects in Canada and internationally, including various roles on several public-private partnership (PPP or P3) projects. Before joining LeighFisher, David was Vice President, Civil Infrastructure at Infrastructure Ontario, leading the procurement and delivery of a portfolio of large and complex infrastructure P3 projects. Prior to that, David worked as a consultant providing project management and technical advice on airports, highways, rail and transit projects, ports, and site developments in Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean, Latin America, and Central Asia.
At LeighFisher, David leads the company’s operations in Canada and provides technical advisory and related services across the Americas for governments, lenders, and sponsors on projects through various transaction forms including PPP, Alternative Finance and Procurement (AFP), Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFOM); secondary market investments; mergers; acquisitions; and divestments.
