Alceste Venturini, a civil and transportation engineer, has over 20 years of transportation planning experience, with emphasis on aviation and airport planning, and airport privatization, concessions, and public-private partnerships. He has broad experience in airport strategic planning, airport master plans, and the detailed planning, design, management, and operations of airports. His experience includes terminal area facilities planning, airfield and apron planning and design, and airport ground transportation planning for public and private-sector development projects.
Alceste has participated in and/or managed comprehensive transportation infrastructure development projects, directed programming services with architectural and engineering consulting teams, and conducted specialized studies, including feasibility and benefit-cost assessments.
For several Latin American governments and multilateral and bilateral funding and cooperation international organizations, he has managed various airport, highway, and urban transportation projects; developed international public relations and consensus building plans; and participated in strategic community involvement campaigns.
